Responsibilities of the Client

Buyer is responsible for the following:

  • Building permits, compliance, and local authority approval as necessary
  • Off-loading and placement of building(s)
  • Crane off-loading by lifting lugs (spreader bars will be necessary for Crane off-laoding without lifting lug operation). Forklift off-loading. Foundation design, concrete pad and site location for your US Hazmat Storage freestanding building(s), loading ramps, electrical transformer (if required) for a complete installation
  • Foundation design, construction and site preparation
  • Removal of any packing material and tapes (e.g. closed and taped fire dampers, etc.)
  • Arming and installing the dry chemical fire suppression system activation cartridge (if provided)
  • The installation of the static electricity grounding rod and attachment of conductor (wire) from rod to the building grounding lug which is located on the side wall bottom corner of the building
  • Electrical power connections, including but not limited to, electrical wiring, conduit, supports, step-down transformer with local disconnect switch. Building distribution panel is rated 120/240 VAC single phase for either 100 or 125-amp service, unless otherwise ordered
  • Remote wiring such as required for plant interfacing
  • Field touch-up painting
  • Final site inspection, if required, by local authorities
  • Periodic maintenance
