Foundation Preparation Reference
See FOUNDATION DRAWING on page 8 for reference only. Site-specific design and approval is the full responsibility of Client.
- Pad perimeter should be at least 6” from outside edge to exterior building sidewalls (add 1’ for outer structural dimensions), both on length and width.
- We recommended a granular base of gravel or crushed stone. Base should be well compacted to a depth of 4” to 6”.
- Concrete slab rated to withstand the weight and the designed storage weight of your building, based upon your local soil and weather conditions.
- A level foundation or surface is required prior to installation.
- Install 3/4” x 4” anchor bolts in tie-downs at building corners.
The building “tie-downs” are steel plates that are welded to the four corners of your building. After leveling the building, you will need to anchor the building down to your slab with the tie-downs and the appropriate size bolts IMMEDIATELY.
RELOCATION INSTRUCTIONS:
To ensure the building is firmly anchored to the ground, unbolt locker and repeat site steps for preparation.
