Specialized storage

Specialized storage

Customization and versatility are crucial components of any niche industry. In the jack-of-all trades era, it still pays to stand out from the crowd. Just like your customers, we understand that your needs are unique. As more industry moves toward specialization and niche production, the demand for heavy duty storage lockers will follow suit.

U.S Hazmat Storage has anticipated the trend toward specialization and in turn, we have engineered a top-of-the-line steel storage locker to handle those unique needs.

Gas cylinder storage

Industrial gasses are used in a wide range of industries. Biotechnology, commercial food entities, medical office and even agricultural settings use compressed gasses on a daily basis. Like several other classes of hazardous materials, compressed gasses must be handled with extreme care. To streamline the storage process, we have engineered a line of storage lockers with shelves that complemented by explosion proof paneling. Ventilation and climate control capabilities ensure these compounds don’t exceed dangerous temperatures.

Our storage lockers are easily accessible, so you could easily wheel in a hand-truck to move gas cylinders. These units can be fitted onto any job-site with zero interference to your day-to-day operations.

For flammable gas storage, we recommend our four-hour fire protection locker that is equipped with explosion proof paneling and other features that can withstand even the most ferocious forces of physics.

Heavy duty equipment

No two jobs are the same. Some jobs require a little more elbow grease than others, which is why you need to bring out the bigger tools. You also need a place to store larger tools and machinery, so it’s not damaged in the construction process of stolen by conniving thieves. While we would love to tell you that the chance of your equipment being stolen on the job-site is low, the reality is that this type of crime is low-risk and high-reward for criminals. Even more concerning is the fact that less than 25 percent of stolen construction equipment is ever recovered.

Compartmentalization and your storage needs

Like dueling personalities, some chemicals and hazardous materials simply don’t mix. But what about your storage needs? You have two different classifications of hazardous materials but only enough money for one locker, what do you do? Relax. With our multi-purpose storage lockers, you can safely and securely store different classifications of chemicals under one room.

Steel shelving and explosion proof paneling affords you the advantage of storing chemicals in proximity of each other without ever actually coming close to contact, so you don’t have to worry about volatile reactions between the chemical antagonists.

Climate control and spill containment

Optimal chemical and hazardous material storage can be found in the goldilocks zone. Each classification of hazardous material needs a certain temperature, so its integrity and composition aren’t compromised. For example, if you store paint in cooler temperatures, it can become ropey and clumpy. At that point, it’s virtually unusable. On the flipside, let’s say your wall covering business needs to store paint thinner, which has a very low flash point, in the same locker. If the internal temperature of the locker surpasses 104 degrees Fahrenheit, you could have a catastrophic fire on your hands. With multiple heating and cooling systems, you can safely and confidently store incompatible materials.
