When a building is the right unit
More volume than a locker
Drums, totes, and mixed hazmat that need floor space and containment.
A separate structure
Keep hazardous materials outside the main occupied building.
A factory process
Fit the building to forklift traffic, dispensing, and segregation instead of a generic bay count.
The building
Hazmat storage building
Every building is designed around how you handle the load and what the site requires. Small-container shelving, 55-gal drums, palletized material, or totes — then fire-rated walls, climate control, and fire suppression if you need them. Secondary spill containment is in every building.
Building options
Every building includes EPA secondary spill containment under the load.

Questions about this building
What is the difference between a hazmat building and a hazmat locker?
A building is the larger enclosure for drums, totes, and mixed storage. A locker is the smaller unit. Tell us the volume and we will point you to the right design.
Can the building include fire suppression and spill containment?
Yes. Ask for fire suppression with UL listed components and EPA secondary containment in the quote, and describe the materials. Lighting, sensing, gauges, heat, and AC can also be UL listed. Buildings meet Class I, II, and III classified-area storage when the inventory requires it.
How do I start a hazmat building quote?
Send your name, work email, phone, company, and the materials. Send the chemical list, container count, and site constraints. We return drawings and a purchase quote. Call 877-959-0747.
